Our Club members and youth today are facing a perfect storm of personal and social pressures that can compromise their financial well-being: record lows in savings, record highs in student and consumer debt, increasing living costs and uncertain employment prospects. Together, Boys & Girls Clubs of Elkhart County and Everence have partnered to provide Money Matters to our members, ages 13-18. This award-winning program promotes financial responsibility and independence among Club members. Youth will experience important teachable moments that include life skills such as earning, saving, and handling money responsibly. Throughout the program, they will learn about different careers in the financial sector which will open a world of possibilities. This impactful program will help our members to dream and set goals for their promising futures. Upon graduation from Money Matters, and when it is safe to travel, our members will go to New York to visit Wall Street firsthand. They will experience the ringing of the bells and learn the rich history of Wall Street. Please help us to provide invaluable lessons and a life-changing, once-in-a-lifetime trip to our members as we work to give our members great futures.
